Synopsis
Inspired by John Lennon's Imagine, this film evokes a vision and hope for a world without strife, war and conflict. All things Central Park are used in this visual narrative, including help from an Angel.
Background
I set out to make up a story about Central Park. I used the Imagine Circle in Strawberry Fields as a midway turning point which represented hope in the story. Of course I used the basic iconic central park sites including Bethesda Terrace, Mall Walk, Castle, sailboats, canoes and Sheep Meadow. In addition I found lots of other interesting sites north of the reservoir to support this surreal story including waterfalls, gardens, canons, and fountains. The film screened in a bunch of NYC film festivals.
